Trying to fix a mid RPM stumble
« on: July 20, 2020, 08:55:21 am »
Recently picked up an Ascot and am trying to fix a stumble in the acceleration. From idle, if you roll on the throttle it starts bugging down at around 4500rpm. I've powered through it and it pulls pretty good at higher rpm.
The bike had sat for a while so I started with the carbs.
Carbs have been rebuilt and even swapped with a spare set. Coils check out ok and so do the spark boxes.
The mag pick up for the rear cylinder is a bit out of spec. Front reads 522ohms and the rear 548.

Any ideas?
Could the pickup being a bit over be enough?

Thanks
