which looks better?

Been through so many incarnations I'm confused as to which one I like best anymore.

Clean looking Ascot! What all have you done to your bike?

I'm not a big fan of windshields or chrome on an Ascot, so I'm probably not the right person to ask. The Ascots are modeled after a Flat Track racing bike & intended to be more of a good handling "Roadster" than a Touring bike. The fact that the VT Ascot works so well as a light touring bike, is testament to the very efficiant & rider friendly drivetrain, plus the excellent ergonomics.

I like my bikes to have a semi stripped down look. The Ascots are real good looking bikes (To my eye anyway) and I try to maintain that look while cleaning up the things that detract from the design. Such as the long rear fender insert that hangs down too low. The turn signals that stick out too far, etc. That type of thing.

Thanks for the feedback guys,
The Emgo Viper fairing was a bitch to mount. It does do very little other than look dam good IMO but it did deflect some of the wind.
The round headlamp is an H4 Chrome Side Mount 6&1/4" 6.25" Head Lamp Headlight Assembly No longer available from Amazon. It was cheap though and bolted right up, (with spacers).
Bought from Amazon sold by Alphamoto. There are probably other options from them. $40 if I remember right.
The windshield is a Hellfire, Not sure of the manufacturer, National Cycle maybe? It came with the bike and had a sticker on it that said "Hellfire".
I ended up with the completely stripped down round headlight look but the upright seating position of this bike really turns your body into a sail at speed.
The windshield has awesome protection up to 60 + or - mph, but dam it's ugly..

My vote is for the middle one, the round headlight without any fairing or windscreen.  'Course I'm not entirely unbiased, since mine has a round headlight without any fairing or windscreen, lol...
