I have a running '82 FT500, in fact I have been riding it to work 130 miles a day. I hate to completely wear it out, so far it has been doing fine with minor fixes to keep it on the road. I've jetted the carb, adjusted the valves, installed a new chain, etc. I have some oil filters, some parts that really don't amount to much and would like to get the $800.00 I spent for it. I'm taking the exhaust off today to have the inner pipes welded because the rattle has gotten bad.
