Figured I'd start a thread for new folks that join...

Mine is a 1984 model, red, with about 25K miles on it.  Mods include superbike bars, rectangular mirrors, s/s front brake line, cross-drilled front rotor, K&N air filter, modified stock muffler (removed the big upper baffle, put a stainless exhaust cap on the end, no rejetting required).  Love riding this thing in the twisties in So Cal, revs pretty high for a twin.  Lightweight, easy to flick around, just enough grunt to make things interesting in those canyon roads!

The Cagiva is an absolute hoot to ride.  With the extra cc's compared to the Ascot, it's got more grunt, and sounds terrific with the Bub mufflers.  Three disc brakes and s/s lines will haul it down from speed in a hurry, compared to the brake setup on the Ascot.  But the Ascot is fun in its own way, and I love how the engine just revs all the way to redline.  I rode it down to The Rock Store off Mulholland Highway last time I was back in CA, and it got all kinds of looks.  The Honda and Cagiva are in VA, so at least I've got the Ascot to ride whenever I'm back in So Cal, on roads like these:
