Just saw a pic of the Black VT500 and it looked great. Saw one for sale locally for cheap, may consider it just for fun.

 Have they been RELIABLE machines?

Really dont see many areas to lighten them up, whats the verdict on that? Anyone put a flyscreen on one?

Opps.........forgot to ask about the twin shocks. I dont remember them being an issue on my old bike, but did see a magazine complaining (not a surprise). I'm guessing the stockers w/b FINE for most riders, especially for an old guy like me.
