V-Twin Diaphram Needles

Hello!
The vacuum diaphragm piston needles are apparently different in each carb.  There is a series of three letters stamped near the top of the needle head.  Does anyone know which carb, (cylinder), they are supposed to be orientated to?

An option: you could try contacting this guy: https://www.ebay.com/p/84-86-Honda-Vt500-VT-500-Shadow-Keihin-Carburetor-Rear-Jet-Needle-1ne/2197995218 to see if can tell you the number on the needle he has (always a risk he's got back to front mixed up or needles are not original)  It's from a C model, but I'm pretty sure they're the same as the FT model.

Very Good!  The numbers INE do appear on one of the needles.  That link signifies that it is the rear needle.  I'll go with that!
