hi ive got a kawasaki kl 250 frame with an xl 500 motor in which ive had for 4 years now and used a lot. i  have now converted it with a ft 500 top half bolted onto my xl 500 bottom half so i will have benefit of kickstart and electric start. im almost there but need help with wiring the starter in, ignition/ lights are sorted. i ve kept wiring  basic for lights /ignition. on/off for lights no indicators and a simple speedway ignition cut out. what i need is a simple drawing just showing how to wire in starter. starter solenoid/ starter control unit /starting starter solenoid relay and starter relay. nice and simple. any help would be much appreciated

Study the wiring diagram.

Determine what is required to meet your goal.

Remove the remaining wiring.

Done!
