You can see the differences in the photos, not sure the significance....  The new one was covered in a light blue protective vinyl that was a PIA to get off, but not a big deal.

It fits, seems to seal fine, very satisfied with the results.

Some of the ones I've seen for sale say they're made out of Stainless Steel.  Is the one you have chromed or SS?
