position of timing cam (help)
« on: July 17, 2018, 04:09:40 pm »
I replaced an Ascot head gasket and during reassembly, the marks I made on the cam position rubbed off! :-\ (EEKS) Please help I need to know the orientation of the cams, I have the piston to TDC now.

Thank you!! I will post photos if anyone wants. This head needed several thread repairs on the studs.

Glad you got it sorted. Strange the timing marks are on the back side of the cam sprocket.
