Title: Washed n waxed...1984 ascot

Here is my girl after a couple rounds with rubbing compound, polishing compound and a couple hits with wax and buffer.  Don't think it is original black color, but someone did a decent job. Seat cover ordered, silver wing stickers for the tank, change the fluids and I think we'll be ready for the summer!  I can't believe how quiet these bikes are.....love it!

Looks good! 8) My first Ascot was an '84 black VT500FT, so I'm partial to the black ones.

I think that all Honda products are whisper quiet as they leave the factory. Somewhat of a Honda trade-mark.
