A magnetic oil drain plug is a nice feature to have on your engines. It can capture large metallic debris that might do damage to your engine, plus it serves as an indicator at oil change to see how much metal is floating around in your oil.
It looks like Gold Plug.com offers Magnetic Drain Plugs for many motorcycles & vehicles. I checked & they do carry a Plug for both the FT & the VT Ascots.
