Are you looking for the exhaust "Power Chamber"?

That may be tough to find. Usually they rust out on the bottom left corner. You may want to consider eliminating it from your exhaust system by fabricating a collector & muffler assembly, or purchasing a MAC exhaust system.

Yes, it rusted out where the center stand touches at it's resting point.  Darn thing is immaculate everywhere else. I try to start it now and it just wants to die when I hit the throttle.  If anyone has one, I would be much obliged as I am trying to keep it original.

Found one!  It's off an '83 but in excellent shape! Now the bike won't sound so "bad"!

Good job! I would've thought that finding a solid one would be about as rare as hen's teeth.
