Title: cam chain guide

Need a replacement cam chain guide for 83 ft500.
Scoured ebay but they seem to be rare or made of unobtanium.
It seems like the 79-82 XL and XR 500 share the same guide.
Will the guide from the VT500 work in the FT500?
