Hey guys, just joined the forum. I got a custom built Street Tracker from a guy who got it from a shop and they messed a bunch of stuff up. I have a rocker cover from an XL500 that had a hole for a decompression assembly I had to fill and I have had many annoyances since purchasing the bike. I finally got it running relatively reliably but continued to have a hard time starting it most mornings on my way to work etc. I cleaned the solenoid but I still get that issue where it only engages once and then free spins at times. What could be the cause of this? I apologize as I am sure this has been asked many times before but to my knowledge most fixes have just been cleaning the solenoid. Thanks in advance for your replies.
