WTB - FT500 instrument cluster
« on: November 22, 2018, 06:46:17 pm »
Anyone have a spare, functional instrument cluster they're willing to sell?

I don't care what it looks like, so long as it works!

I don't need the ignition switch, just the speedo & tach assembly.  OK if the lights don't work, just want a functional speedo and tach.

When I got the bike the speedo had been smashed in, and the tach finally stopped working about a month ago.  (tach drive cable is A-OK).

Any suggestions appreciated!

I've got one I'm not using anymore. What is your location?

I'm in Portland, Oregon, and happy to cover the shipping cost.

Here are a couple of pics. The actual mileage on the odo is 14xxx. The trip meter reset knob is missing, so I used a piece of vinyl tubing. I removed the cluster because I installed a White Bros XR cam, which didn't have the pin to drive the tach, and installed a round speedo from a Kawasaki. Postage to OR would be about $13.50. Make me an offer that we can both be comfortable with. ;)

Finally installed the instruments earlier this week ... they work great!

Feels decadent having a fully-functional tach and speedo, including lights and everything!
