A Few Custom FT Ascots...
« on: August 10, 2014, 06:08:42 pm »
Here are a couple of pictures that I have either found on the 'net, or have had sent to me.

If anyone recognizes a bike, or knows the build details, please let us know.

If you have any other pics of a customized FT Ascot, please post them up.

Enjoy...

I'm kinda liking the chopped down side covers in number one there.

Isn't that a cool effect?

Cutting the number plates/side panels like that, is something that never occurred to me. It looks great!

The red FT is a work in progress. The owner is an Engineer type (I believe) that has a good eye for detail. Should be a real nice bike when he's done.

A few I've found on the net.
My apoligies if'n these have been seen before, and thanks to the owners for sharing their bikes.

Has anyone seen or read any build information on this bike pictured?  I'm liking the "GB500" look and it strikes my GB500/W650 need. Nice and relatively low buck looking!

This is the first time that I recall seeing that one. I take it there was no description available where you found the picture?

Good luck

No, unfortunately is was a random "car picture page" that just happened to have this. In a way it's the old "a picture is worth 1000 words" so its good to at least see and gather ideas. Someone had a good vision and a nice looking "retro/cafe" end product. I like the fork boots, and just a nice job overall. There are some really nice FT500s showing up in general these days.
