The FT 500 is a 500cc single cylinder motorcycle that was made by Honda in 1982 and 83. Its a great town bike but is also commonly converted to a track bike. It is a great beginners bike as well as a really fun ride for more experienced riders. It has electric start, no kick starting.

This one has ~17,000 miles on it. It spent 15 years in a garage before I got it a few years ago with 15,000 miles on it. I had the the carburetor rebuilt by St John's Honda (no longer in business), put a new tire on the front, went through the brakes, added new Hagon rear shocks, new Fork oil, changed the bars and have been riding it ever since.
It came with an after-market exhaust head pipe, (the originals rust out and rattle), the can (muffler) is stock. It also came with a garage dent in the tank (right side), I'm pretty sure this bike has never gone down.

Also comes with Honda Shop Repair Manual, original sales brochure and magazine articles/reviews on the bike from back in the day.

I have used it as a daily commuter bike and it's been extremely reliable. I now have another bike and a small garage so it must go. It's a great bike, sad to see it go but it needs to be used and not sit in my garage.

Sucks to have to let something go, but if your garage is too small for 2 bikes where are you going to put a quad or whatever else you would trade for lol.
